Account Executives:

Highly successful and poised for continued growth nationally, we are searching for qualified Commercial Sales Representatives with proven outside sales records for our Toronto, Winnipeg and Edmonton Divisions. The ideal candidates will possess sales experience in security and/or related field. Construction industry knowledge with a network of developer, general contractor and/or electrical trade contacts would be a definite asset.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and resourceful, with an aptitude for learning and keeping pace with ever-advancing technology. In addition to identifying sales opportunities with our existing account base, the candidate should possess a keen eye for developing new business opportunities, the primary role for this position.

Essential qualifications for this position include:

  • post-secondary education from a college/university or technical institute
  • minimum 2-3 years sales experience in security, construction or related industry
  • strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • self-starter; works effectively with minimal day to day supervision
  • able to multi-task and work within a dynamic, evolving technology-based industry
  • existing business and sales network (preferred)

Note: Professional experience with a proven sales record in lieu of a post-secondary education will be considered.

We are a full services National Commercial Security Integrator specializing in the design and installation of card access, video and monitoring systems. With offices in BC, Ontario and Montreal, and a communications manufacturing/service division, we have positioned ourselves as a national player and leader when it comes to the installation of highly creative security and life safety solutions that utilize the latest in technology.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate with Security industry experience to manage the administration group, sales team and financial accountability for our Mississauga branch. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Oversee sales and administration personnel for the GTA
  • Ensure all CIS policies and procedures and installation standards are adhered to by all office & field personnel
  • Oversee ULC inspections, maintenance program and project commissioning
  • Review and approve all Service & Project dept. invoicing
  • Coordinate with IT, sales and Project Manager for field operations
  • Follow-up on incomplete installations and service work until 100% completion
  • Read and understand specifications for all active projects
  • Help train and mentor sales, administration and operations personnel
  • Negotiate contracts and direct activities for sub-contractors
  • Provide operational reports as required
  • Oversee product purchasing and inventory management

 

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and resourceful, with a strong technical background and an aptitude for continued learning. Essential qualifications and experience for this position include:

  • Strong technical background with 7-10 years experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of the latest in card access solutions (incl. software programming), IP video, networking and monitoring systems
  • Possess leadership qualities with an ability to direct and motivate staff
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer and networking skills
  • Decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Resourceful and open to continuous learning
  • Attention to detail and well organized
  • Ability to formulate and compile reports
  • Able to multi-task and handle pressure
  • Meet deadlines and contribute to Company goals
